Liese Lord is a consultant who helps organisations transition into flexible working patterns. Her company, The Lightbulb Tree, is a new business that embraces innovation and collaboration.
When I first met Liese she had a logo and an incredible concept for her business. I was lucky enough to be able to work with her on every other aspect of her website.
Liese wanted me to create a space that represents her engaging and unique personal branding whilst also appealing to her clients who are often from the corporate world.
Ruth Kudzi is a Business and Mindset Coach for Female Entrepreneurs.
Ruth’s online goal is to have an easy to navigate website that represents her brand and identity in a competitive industry where first impressions matter. I redesigned her site to ensure this goal was met and regularly make changes and updates to ensure it continues to be.
“As soon as I met Jo I knew I was going to work with her.
Jo is very good at what she does, hard working, fun and reliable. I have recommended her to all of my clients and friends (many of whom have worked with her). After having a hard time getting the right tech support Jo is a breath of fresh air. Not only does she understand the tech but she has a strong eye for design.
If you are looking for a web designer I wouldn’t look any further. I hope to continue working with Jo for years to come.”
BYO (Bring Your Own) is a newly opened Zero Waste Shop in Tooting Market.
Tanya DeAfonseca, the founder of BYO, is passionate about reducing food packaging and waste and has the inspirational goal that one day her shop closes due to zero waste being embraced by every grocery shop, not just specialist ones like hers.
Whilst each project I work on is special to me, Tanya agreeing to work with me on her website design and digital marketing plan was a fantastic moment as I hold similar beliefs to her about improving the environment.
Thank you, Tanya!
Caroline Rae is a career and leadership coach.
I worked with Caroline to ensure her website represented her and her offer authentically and clearly. I designed a series of logos that she use’s across all her branded material and wrote content for her full website and further promotional material including detailed outlines of the packages she offers her coaching clients.
“Jo is quite simply fantastic to work with. She’s energetic, committed and her work is excellent. Jo communicates clearly throughout the process (without all the tech speak) and never rushes you for a decision. She was always able to say what works and what doesn’t (and why) which I found helpful and reassuring.
If you want a positive, creative and straightforward approach to your website – Jo is for you!”
Chris Thompson is a professional writer for Theatre, TV & Film.
Chris’ primary website aim was to have an online portfolio, bringing all his work together in one place, and to ensure he was visible on search engines when he, or a piece of his work, is searched for.
“I chose Jo to design and build my website because as well as the technical expertise, she has a sharp eye for what looks great that sets her apart. I wanted something that would make me stand out, and the feedback I’ve had from my website visitors is that Jo has delivered that beyond my expectations. She’s very easy to work with, full of vision and great ideas that fitted the brief and never missed a deadline.
I’m exceedingly happy with my website and so grateful to Jo for making me look good – I recommend her without reservation.”

Neil McDonald MBE offers Inclusivity Training & Consultancy for Corporate and Independent Organisations.
Neil worked with me to create an online space that represented his consultancy work and showcased him as an expert in his field.
“Jo took away all my website fears and woes! With minimal direction, Jo was able to build an incredible website that has helped to sell and grow my freelance work.
Jo has fresh and creative eyes to ensure that my website looks professional but is also welcoming to ensure that I am approachable to various audiences. Jo is quick to respond and has been able to handle every difficult question I’ve put to her.
I would heartily recommend that you use Jo to build and maintain your website too.”
Salon Marisol is a family owned hair salon based in Kentish Town.
“Jo came highly recommended to me by my marketing consultant. We already had a website set up, but we weren’t generating online bookings.
Jo completely overhauled what we had and now we have a beautiful website that incorporates the essence of who we are, what we offer and what makes us unique.
The site is SEO optimised and our booking platform is more user-friendly. As a direct result of Jo’s work, our diary is full most days. The transformation is remarkable!
Jo has also since totally overhauled our social media presence. She took the time afterwards to meet with me in person to show me how to make our use of Facebook and Instagram more effective.
Her attention to detail and knowledge really stands out. I find her professional approach and personable nature extremely refreshing and in terms of value, you won’t find better.”
